Mike is the founder of Verena Solutions and generated the initial design for a variety of dental infection control products currently under development. Prior to Verena, Mike worked in software development Red Prairie and engineering sales for Victaulic corporation with a focus on new product design and design efficiency. Mike has a degree in Computer Engineering from Marquette University and enjoys home brewing and small construction projects.
Katherine Schrubbe, BSDH, MEd, PhD, is an adjunct professor at Marquette University School of Dentistry and Director of Quality Assurance for Dental Associates. With 30+ years in dental education, Schrubbe is a regular speaker of continuing education courses on infection control and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. She was the 2003 recipient of the American Association of Dental Research William B. Clark Award for Clinical Research.
Jeremy is the Founder and CEO of a venture incubation firm, CEO in a Box. Prior to CEO in a Box, Jeremy has 12 years of experience as an entrepreneur, with three successful exits. Jeremy has a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Brandeis University and two graduate degrees (DMD - Tufts University, MBA expected 2016 - University of Chicago). He is a licensed and practicing dentist and serial entrepreneur.
Natalie has developed the marketing and social media presence of Verena Solutions. A recent summa cum laude graduate from Bryn Mawr College, she enjoys applying her four years of marketing and development experience in the nonprofit sector, to this innovative medical start-up. Always up for an adventure, Natalie is also an avid traveler who has been to all 50 States and at least as many countries around the world. Over the years, she has honed her ability to sleep on all forms of transportation.
Joe was most recently an engineer at Northrop Grumman with a focus on air defense system design. Formerly, Joe worked as an engineer at Signode designing industrial parts and tooling. Joe is a recent graduate of Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering. In between reading up on new tooling designs Joe likes to train for triathalons and recently finished a course in sketch/improv comedy from Second City Theater.
Jim is an active Equity investor focusing on early stage companies in the Biomedical, Powergen and Real Estate markets. Prior to this Jim was an investor in and COO of ReGENCo which was successfully sold to Toshiba in 2010. He also spent 13 years in product development at Johnson Controls and is an graduate of University of Wisconsin (BBA) and Marquette University (MBA). Jim likes to take road trips and procure rare cheese and sausage from various parts of Wisconsin.
Brian is currently a principal and manager at Pamlico Capiltal, focusing on investment in the managed dental and medical practice markets. Prior to joining Pamlico Capital, Brian was a Principal at Beecken Petty O’Keefe and an Analyst at Piper Jaffray. Brian received a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Representative prior boards include D4C Dental Brands and Southern Anesthesia & Surgical.
